أفادت تقارير صحفية أن نادي توتنهام هوتسبير الإنجليزي، بات قريبًا من حسم خامس صفقاته في نافذة الانتقالات الصيفية.

وكان توتنهام قد أعلن تعاقده مع إيفان بيريسيتش بعد نهاية عقده مع إنتر ميلان، كما تعاقد مع حارس المرمى الإنجليزي فروستر، والأيرلندي جوش كيلي، إلى جانب لاعب وسط برايتون إيف بيسوما.

وحسب شبكة “سكاي سبورتس” البريطانية، فإن توتنهام توصل إلى اتفاق بالفعل مع إيفرتون، للتعاقد مع البرازيلي، ريتشارليسون من صفوف التوفيز.

وأشار التقرير إلى أن توتنهام أرسل بالفعل العقود الرسمية إلى ريتشارليسون والوكلاء من أجل التوقيع على الصفقة.

وأوضحت الشبكة في تقريرها أن ريتشارليسون يخضع للفحص الطبي بالفعل في البرازيل في وجود موظفين من توتنهام.

وسيُكلف انتقال ريتشارليسون إلى توتنهام ما يقرب من 60 مليون جنيه إسترليني، بجانب بعض المتغيرات.

ريتشارليسون كان انضم إلى إيفرتون في 2018 قادمًا من واتفورد، وخلال مسيرته مع التوفيز خاض 152 مباراة في جميع المسابقات وسجل 53 هدفًا.

There is also an option inserted within the agreement to make the move permanent for around £6.5m upon the conclusion of the season. He will undergo a medical at Lennoxtown today before the deal is formalised.

يبدو أن رحيم ستيرلينج متأكد من أن مستقبله بعيد عن مانشستر سيتي، بعد التفاوض على بيع منزله لأحد لاعبي فريق ليفربول، حسبما ذكرت صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية.

ودخل آرسنال في مفاوضات رسمية مع مانشستر سيتي، خلال الفترة الماضية، لبحث إمكانية الحصول على خدمات رحيم ستيرلينج في موسم الانتقالات الصيفي الحالي.

وتشير التقارير إلى أن هناك اتفاقًا بين الناديين حول الرسوم المالية لتلك الصفقة، رغم عدم وجود أي شيء رسمي حتى الآن.

ولكن صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية أثارت التكهنات حول اقتراب الصفقة من إتمامها، بعدما ذكرت أن ستيرلينج يسعى إلى بيع منزله لأحد لاعبي ليفربول.

وأوضحت أن هناك مفاوضات قد تمت بين رحيم ستيرلينج ولاعب ليفربول ترينت ألكسندر أرنولد، من أجل بيع منزل الأول للأخير.

وأفادت أنه من المفهوم أن أرنولد ينوي الانتقال من منزله الحالي الكائن في جنوب مانشستر، على نفس الطريق مع زميله حارس ليفربول أليسون ولاعب مانشستر يونايتد السابق بول بوجبا.

ويعتقد أنه كان في مفاوضات مع ستيرلينج لشراء منزل بقيمة 4.5 مليون جنيه إسترليني في منطقة شيشاير الريفية، مما أثار المزيد من التكهنات بأن مهاجم السيتي وإنجلترا قد يكون في طريقه إلى تشيلسي.

Former Premier League footballer Carlton Palmer believes Manchester United re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo is a “great bit of business”.

The Red Devils confirmed that they had reached an agreement with Juventus to bring the Portuguese superstar back to Old Trafford subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo returns to Manchester United after spells with Real Madrid and Juventus. In his previous spell at Old Trafford, Ronaldo scored an unbelievable 118 goals in all competitions and provided a further 69 for his teammates.

Throughout his career, Ronaldo has scored 674 goals and provided 229 assists in all competitions and Palmer believes it’s a great bit of business by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to bring him back as the club look to challenge for the Premier League title and in the Champions League.

He told Football FanCast: “Trust me, there is no danger he scores goals in the Premier League, no danger whatsoever so it’s a great bit of business. 

“He can play in the number nine role, you can play him out wide, you can play him off the top, you know, he’s an unbelievable fit player.

“It’s just a magnificent bit of business, a feelgood factor. I went for Man United before the league started, I went for them to win it and I’m still sticking with that, if they can get the Pogba deal done which I’m sure they will do, I think they’ve got a great chance this season.”

Solskjaer’s team have made an unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign heading into the international break. The Red Devils opened up with a 5-1 thrashing of Leeds United at Old Trafford, before drawing 1-1 with Southampton at St Mary’s and then beating Wolves 1-0 at the weekend.

Alongside Ronaldo, Solskjaer has also made three additional signings in Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and Tom Heaton this summer, and will be hoping that his side can remain undefeated and challenge for major honours this season.

Speaking to Football Insider, BBC Radio 5 Live pundit Alan Hutton has been left in awe of West Ham United’s signing of Croatia international Nikola Vlasic.

The Lowdown: West Ham finally land attacker…

From the beginning right through to the very end of the summer transfer window, West Ham were linked with bolstering manager David Moyes’ attacking options ahead of a long season.

The striking position was a hot topic among Irons supporters, as was as the possible signing of an attacking midfield player, with Moyes managing to bag one at the very last gasp.

West Ham allegedly turned their attention away from Jesse Lingard after learning of his £30 million asking price, going on to target former Everton man Vlasic.

As a result, the club secured a £25.7 million deal plus £7.7 million in add-ons for the attacker on deadline day (The Athletic).

The Latest: Hutton in awe of move…

Speaking to FI, the ex-Tottenham Hotspur defender waxed lyrical over this swoop and believes Vlasic could come good in the east end.

Hutton says that the 23-year-old comes as a sound alternative to Lingard.

“When you look at age and stuff comes into it. If you’re paying £30 million for someone that’s touching 30, yes he’s proven in the Premier League and had a great season last year,” the Scotsman explained when asked about Lingard vs Vlasic.

“But Vlasic, anybody that’s in the Croatian national team, you know they’re technically gifted. They prove this all the time.

“He’s got that experience, he’s young, he’s going to get better. Playing at a higher level, as in the Premier League, we’ll hopefully see the best of him.

“If you look at Moyes’ transfers that he’s made over recent seasons, it’s been unbelievable. He’s yet to miss if we’re totally honest.

“This is one I’m looking forward to seeing. The little bits I have seen of him have been very good. I’m looking forward to seeing how he does in a high-flying West Ham team.”

The Verdict: Moyes masterclass?

Going by the numbers, Vlasic certainly looks like a real bargain on paper.

For an initial £25.7m fee, West Ham may have just landed one of the coups of the window given he notched a prolific 11 goals and five assists in 26 Russian Premier League starts (WhoScored).

As well as this, Vlasic sensationally averaged 4 shots on goal per 90 in that time and 2.8 key passes – far eclipsing the numbers of every West Ham player in the Premier League last year (WhoScored).

While you could make the argument that his fine form came in an inferior division, his threat is there for all to see as he did impress at Euro 2020.
