بيراميدز واجه فيوتشر إف سي، اليوم الأحد، وانتهت المباراة بفوز الأخير بهدفين مقابل هدف، في إطار منافسات كأس الرابطة المصرية.

وحقق مصر المقاصة الفوز على إيسترن كومباني بهدفين لهدف، بينما تعادل المصري والاتحاد السكندري بهدفين لكل فريق. ترتيب المجموعة الأولى في كأس الرابطة

One area where they may look to improve is offensively. Odsonne Edouard has regularly been linked with a move away and the latest on his situation is that Liverpool are interested in securing his services.

The Belgian has received minimal game-time this season and thus could leave Merseyside when the window opens this summer.

Edouard has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs in recent months, with West Ham and Leicester also reportedly interested in the Frenchman.

Ideal replacement

Origi has only scored once this season but that isn’t a fair barometer of the striker’s abilities. After all, he has started just twice in the Premier League throughout 2020/21,

The Belgian has a habit of scoring big goals, however. Whether it was against Barcelona in the 2018/19 Champions League or in the final itself, he is often the man for the big occasion.

Origi is still only 25 and you sense there is far more to come from a player who has had two successful loan spells away from Liverpool in the past.

He scored seven times during a short stint with Wolfsburg after netting nine times for Lille in 2014/15. Despite his lack of game-time, he has also scored 35 goals for Liverpool. You don’t manage that sort of tally without having a bit of quality about you.

Brendan Rodgers also rates him highly, something which should add to the lure of him replacing Edouard. Just as he did with the Frenchman, the former Celtic manager was the man who initially signed Origi for Liverpool.

Speaking about the forward in previous years, Rodgers noted: “We had him [Origi] at Melwood, the scouting team there had a wonderful presentation showing him from 15 years of age and we showed him how we would like to progress his game.”

Rodgers added: “He is a great talent. He hasn’t been allowed to show it as much as he would like because of the talent that is there [at Liverpool].”

If a player is good enough for Rodgers, then he’s certainly good enough for Celtic.

Origi feels like the type of player who could thrive in the Scottish game and get his career back on track. It would also be cost-effective including him in a deal with Edouard.

تحدث رياض محرز قائد منتخب الجزائر عن المباراة المصيرية التي ستجمع الخُضر مع كوت ديفوار في ختام دور المجموعات ببطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية.

ويلتقي منتخب الجزائر مع نظيره كوت ديفوار في ختام منافسات مرحلة المجموعات، غدا الخميس، في تمام السادسة مساءً بتوقيت القاهرة.

وقال رياض محرز خلال تصريحاته بالمؤتمر الصحفي قبل اللقاء: “أثبتنا أننا نحسن اللعب تحت الضغط وسنفعلها غدا رغم أن المهمة لن تكون سهلة بين منتخبين يبحثان عن الفوز”.

وأضاف: “لا نفكر في خسارة المباراة ومتفائل بتحقيق الفوز، اللاعبون يشعرون بالضغط قبل مواجهة كوت ديفوار بسبب الوضعية الصعبة والبداية غير الموفقة في البطولة”.

واختتم: “لعبنا جيدا لكننا لم نسجل الأهداف، وعلينا إيجاد الحلول اللازمة لذلك”.

Swedish publication Sportbladet claim that Dean Smith’s side and fellow Premier League outfit Leicester are both said to be keen admirers of the 27-year-old ahead of a potential summer move.

Filip’s also a very tough player who won’t bow down.”

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is also a firm admirer of the centre-back’s qualities, adding: “It is the reason why we kept him in the team and because he is one that will stand up. Positionally he is outstanding, you can see that he has been coached in Italy and been around Italian coaches. He gets blocks in, important blocks, and positionally he is always spot on.”

It’s no surprise that the Gers boss has also dubbed Helander as a “leader” given his willingness to put the team first on the pitch, and that level of selflessness should surely go down well at Villa Park.

If Villa are looking for a defender to compete with the likes of Tyrone Mings and Ezri Konsa, then they should look no further than Helander.

Southampton look to have been robbed blind in their negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the summer, with the Danish international continuing to impress in Jose Mourinho’s side this season.

The former Saints captain was sold to the North London club for a reported fee of just £15 million, despite Southampton reportedly setting an asking price of £35 million earlier in the summer.

Of course, they were able to negotiate a deal with Spurs that saw Kyle Walker-Peters move the other way for just £12 million, which has proved to be an excellent deal for the club, but you could definitely argue that the South Coast club could have negotiated a much better deal for the defensive midfielder.

In his time at Spurs, Hojbjerg has seen his market value rise to a career-high of £31.5 million, despite being valued at just £18 million during the summer.

He has been a mainstay in Mourinho’s Spurs side this season, making 29 appearances in the Premier League and averaging a very solid 6.96 rating for his performances.

After impressing in Spurs’ 2-0 North London derby win earlier in the season, Mourinho was full of praise for the former Bayern Munich man, saying:

“Simplicity is genius. And the guy is so simple in everything he does with the ball. And I think he’s a phenomenal player. Congratulations, Mr Levy.”

The fact that Mourinho was saluting Spurs’ chairman Daniel Levy, who is renowned for his ability to negotiate transfer deals, suggests that even the Portuguese manager believes that they got a bargain when signing Hojbjerg.

Although Southampton were almost forced into a decision with Hojbjerg due to his old contract being set to expire at the end of this season, the fact that the Danish international’s value has gone through the roof during his time at Spurs definitely suggests that they could’ve demanded a bit more.

If he continues to impress with the Lilywhites, then you could definitely argue that Southampton were robbed blind by Levy in the negotiations for Hojbjerg.

كشفت صحيفة ماركا الإسبانية، أن رونالد أراوخو رفض عرض برشلونة الأول لتجديد عقده، ليوجه صدمه للنادي الكتالوني.
